I just got an offer in my E-mail on a lease for a '06 F-150 Super Cab XLT truck with the 5.4, towing package, shift-on-the-fly four wheel drive, and limited slip.
It's for 24 months and 10,500 miles per year.
What gives? Isn't this Fords biggest seller? It seems like a really good deal.
I'm not going for it for several reasons. One, I work for a living so my trucks tend to get awefully beat up. Two, just 21k total miles would kill me 'cause I love to drive, and Three, the sort of truck I normally drive costs less than $199 total and when it goes...it goes.
I haven't set foot in a dealership in two years, but this has got to be a $25,000+ truck. And it seems like a really good deal for some one. Am I missing something? What's up with Ford?
