View Full Version : Can I Save My Rear End?

I have been reading some of your posts and I am wondering if I can save my rearend on an 04' with 20K by changing to synthetic now or? Any other ideas? Thanks,

Bill, see my answer in the other thread where you asked the same question...

Since you put more info into this one, I can give you a better answer...you have an '04, so the axle issue doesn't apply to you.

If for some reason you have bad axles, then simply changing the fluid will not fix it. they'll need to be replaced.

Thats a load off. Thanks a ton for the good news. Do you know of any other major issues I should attend to? Such as Amsoil for the trans? My car is stock(so far). Bought it used and have no noticable problems. Thanks again,

Consider your rear end saved. Just follow the owners manual maintenence schedule and you will be fine. Dennis:D
