Since I was a wee boy in grade school, I can remember teachers encouraging me to expand my horizons and deapen my understanding of the world by learning new vocabulary words. While it's been a long time since I did the "learn a new word a day" routine, I am proud to say that today, my rapidly aging self did learn a new word.
I'm not sure how to work it into conversation, but I'm working on it.
(disclaimer: this is about a 9.5 on the Carlson Tasteless-o-meter, so those of you who are easily offended should go powder your noses or something)
