I have been looking for a truck for several years and wanted a 10-12 year old Ford F-150 but they are usually pretty ratty and in poor mechanical shape??

A friend of mine who buys and sells wholesale only called with this F-350 Dually and it took me all of about 15 minutes to decide!! It has a 460 with E4OD tranny and a 10.25" Ford "Trac-Lok"rear that works very well at 153K miles!!:bows:

I changed the trans fluid and filter yesterday and dropping the pan revealed a very clean unit that holds 2 GALLONS of fluid in the pan!!

Best part...EVERYTHING WORKS!!

I believe it would pull my Cobra trailer around without wheels!!:D ;)

I've got a '95 F250HD with 460 and 5 speed with 4:30 gears and 80k on the clock. Man that puppy will pull stumps out of lake beds. I regularly pull a 8500 pound trailer. You'll be one happy camper. (Must get a K&N filter, flowmaster 40, and superchip)

My '97 has 4.10s... gotta look into the goodies you have... but it pulls so good that I haven't made it a priority.

Heavy thing though... 5900 pounds empty.

You got alot more truck than an F150!

The paint is gold "Saddle Metal Flake" and a deep burgundy....Nice combo!!

It has a GVWR of 10,000#......Haven't figured out the trailer weight capacity but mine is only 7K# so I think it will work OK!!:bows:

This sucker likes gas.....Seems like about 10 MPG around town??

10 mpg... you're doing great! Check out ford-trucks.com for more than you ever wanted to know. 10 mpg in town and 14 on the highway is probably the upper-end of normal. With 4.10s I was getting 11 mpg driving across Kansas... at 80+ mph!

I had 2 tons of top soil in the bed and the snow plow on front one day... I'm thinking that was about 11,000 lbs of GVW and it really handled all quite well. I'm thinking I wasn't getting 10 mpg that day though!

Very nice truck!!!! A friend's dad in High School had a 4-door Ford dually with the 460 and manual. 1st gear was pretty useless unless hauling/pulling something, but many would that thing haul A**. Loved that thing.

Someday I plan on owning a 4x4 crew cab Ford Dually with the Powerstroke. If nothing else than to say I have one. More importantly to actually use for pulling future toys.
