Mike:
That is set up nice, with the right colors.
If I buy another car this year (6 since November 2005)...
I will be D-E-D dead from my loving wife's bare hands...
So I'm chillin' on cars...:rasta:

Good Luck.

Jim

That's a sweetheart of a Mustang, very nice. Decent price too, Mike, I'm sure this car would go for more on a dealer's lot.

I have never owned a six cylinder automobile. I drove a few over the years, but never bought a car without a V-8 engine. Someone gave me their '61 VW Bug once, and that was registered in my name, but I never bought anything but V-8. I suppose it's time to look at the contemporary market and see what's going on today.

The September '06 issue of MM&FF is my present reading material in my study (the crapper for y'all), and on page 107 begins a nice 3 page write up of an '06 Mustang 4.0L coupe with the "Pony Package".

It's not just tape stripes, y'all. Larger 4 wheel disc brakes, an improve SOHC 4.0L V-6 with broader shoulders, some suspension bits, and of course, wheels and tires. It's bright red (as it should be) and it's one sweet looking Mustang coupe. I don't work for Ford, or, MM&FF, so you'll have to read on from there.

What I like about it (and the S197 Mustang at large) the most, is it's ties to classic Mustang history. This Pony Package includes a retro style "pony in the corral" grille treatment with driving lamps that will take some of us right back to back to 1965-66 Mustang coupes and 'verts that were not Shelbys, GTs, or, GTAs.

Great article, and I am very impressed with this car, and this Pony Package. I would opt for a manual tranny myself, but if that is not an open option, the five speed auto would't stop me from getting into one of these new gen Mustangs.

Now watch this..."Nothing up my sleeve..."

Just as the article ends on page 110 in your left hand, the page in your right hand is a full page ad from ProCharger...

Talk about timing and ad placement, ProCharger has two centrifugal supercharger kits for this car. One is 7-8 PSI of boost on 91 octane delivering 355 RWHP, the second is 9-10 PSI of boost on 91 octane delivering 380 RWHP...Both under the banner of 17 National Championships under their belt in professional racing circles. Gotta love it...

Bravo Ford, MM&FF, and ProCharger. Makes me wonder what's possible for a mint '05 'vert like Mike offers us here.

"Sleeper" is not adequate.

Now that spring is around the corner,...

The price has been lowered to $18k.

PM me if interested.

Car has remained garage kept and only driven twice since the end of last fall.

Mike.
