In June 1957 a new 57 Plymouth was buried as part of Tulsa's Golden Jubalee. Next June, the time capsule will unearthed.

Let's hope so. It'll be interesting to see the predictions about the future from back in '57. The ones about gas and flying cars missed the mark. :rolleyes:

The car is buried in a concrete and steel vault and is covered in cosmolene and wrapped in plastic. So, it should still be in good shape.

thats cool , i wish i could be there when they un earth it.....cosmolene and plastic..that thing should be mint!!!!!!

That cosmolene/plastic should have prevented the condensation from turning this into a pile of rust. I remember in the Navy getting diesel parts that had beern packed 35 years earlier and they were perfect.
