I'm going to this with the TB Mustang club on Saturday. Anyone interested? I think some Rauders in the crowd would be cool,,, and JMan's vic also :D

Besides the car show, there are a bunch of displays, kids attractions and air shows. Check it out:

Hey, I never even knew about that club! May hafta bring the MM and one Stang, this should be a good show, it's a great spot.

OH YEAH!
I'm all about F-16's and air shows. At the last two St. Pete Grands Prix, they had (in '05) an F-15E Eagle which flew off after 20 mins. of aerobatics and came back in formation with a real Mustang (P-51) and an F-16 (in '06) which put on an unbelieveable show only to be joined by an F-86 Sabre. Man, I'm getting goose bumps just thinkin' about it. We're all wimps compared to those guys!!!

I'm in for the air show for sure!

Yeah SSP, you should get the rest of the "police" guys to show up. We can make this a all Ford/Merc event!!
I tried to talk the wife into letting me get a SSP but she wasn't having it,, too many toys already,, oh well.

I love watching the incredible power in the flying rockets as they go from the deck to angels 40 in an instant but the real acrobats in the Extras, Pitts etc. who fly those piston engine babies in configurations that defy gravity and believeablility are my heroes. We will be there. Dennis:D

They're trying to preregister as many cars as possible. I guess ther's only room for about 200 cars and they're hoping to fill it up.

If you plan on entering your car (your $20.00 get you 2 tickets to the airshow) better register soon.

You guys are makin' me homesick...

When I was living in Daytona (1999-2002), I had to drive down to the CG base there at Albert Whitted for my reserve drills. I've also flown in/out of AW a few times myself...I'm sure you know the historical significance of the place. I was glad when AOPA was able to keep the place from getting bulldozed for more high-rise condo developments.

Man, I wish I was there now...hopefully by this time next year!

Have you seen the Blue Angles at Hickam? Thats quit a show, used to love going out there. Ill trade you for a week!
