The violin "olympics" in Indianapolis. Anyone interested???
And everyone thinks there is more culture in a container of yogurt than in the whole of MM.net :)

I'm a bit confused. Did I miss the reason why this is posted? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for music (obviously) but these things happen all the time, and all over the world. I'd bet there's a music competition going on every weekend in every region of the country, and I'm just talking "classical" genre. Including other types of music and you get that much more going on.

Is this one to be noted for some reason? You got a kid performing?

This is "THE" premier violin competition in the world that is held every 4 years I just thought that if someone was interested, this is a not to be missed event. If it doesn't mean anything to you,, move along,,,,nothing to see here

It's not that it doesn't mean anything, but there are several such competitions that people like to call the "premier" competition in the world. :)
