Okay, so Honda makes a cruiser. How do you tell apart a rice burning cruiser from real 'merkin iron (Harley Davidson)?

Why, the sound of course.

Here is a helpful comparison:

Lol, that is quite funny. Sadly, my Dad has a Honda which has a nice loud raspy sounding exhaust, which really does sound nice. He really wanted a Harley but, just couldn't afford one, so he bought the Honda. I told him don't buy a bike period, and just buy me a supercharger, but he got the bike. Either way he will get to hear this comparison, and make him wish for a Harley that much more.

If you're looking for a killer sound from a bike, check out this dyno run for my '03 Triumph Bonneville after I installed my custom "Freak" cold air intake system and Sceptre straight pipes. I routinely have Harley riders chase me down to find out what I'm riding...notice I said "chase".

FYI...some distinctive riders of Triumph motorcycles:

Steve McQueen
James Dean
Marlon Brando
Fonzi...it wasn't a Harley on Happy Days
Clint Eastwood

That was great. Sent it to the Harley riders and one Victory rider here at the office.

I like the funny little sound track that goes with the Valk. But in real life, I've heard some Valks with 4" open pipes, and they sound awesome. The big Honda VTXs sound like crap with aftermarket exhaust, although they are much smoother than the HD's and make far more power stock.
