Looking for some suggestions for new rotors for my o4MM. I was thinking of just the fronts for right now due to a nice shudder on braking. I think OEM sucks cause the car only has 20k on it and I don't smash on the brakes. I was considering the Pro Stop Slotted and Dimpled Brake Rotors any suggestions other than that? And what are good pads for street driving?

I went with Baer OEM size and severe duty Ford pads.
No problems so far.

Reinhart has the EBC rotors and pads on sale for $460 as part of his September specials. That's a great price. I've been very happy with mine for 6,000 miles now.

EBC's are junk had them and the rotors wrapped not once but twice, even their Green Stuff pads were too hard for their slotted/dimpled sport rotors.

I went back to OEM rotors/pads and much happier. Try having your brake fluid flushed, that may get rid of the shudder.

Napa Drilled and slotted rotors. You can get front & rear rotors with a complete set of cermic pad 's for around $600 or so. Their are older threads with the part #'s listed and exact prices. I've had them for a few years with no problems and they stop alot better than stock.

Oem pads & rotors are a good st up for our cars if your not autocross racing. Many members have 70,000 miles plus on the original equipment. In a few weeks I will be changing over to Comand rotors & Hawk HPS pads. The rotors are used on most pursute vehicles. They come with a life time warantee. hte Hawk pads offer 20% more stopping power. That combo with stainless steel brake lines is all I need for now.
