Hey guys, I just did the chat with Steve Babbcock, the Program Manager for the Mercury Marauder, at Edmunds.com. I got the first question, and I asked about the 0-60 times. He says different Mags use different methods of calculation. He said they use the NHRA Method of measurement, and we can expect times in the high 6's new and mid 6's with 5000 Miles (ie.. Broken in). He said the Car that Car and Driver used was green with few miles on it. Hence, the horrible review. I also asked if there would be any FMC sponsored parts like the God's Head, other performance parts available, and he said yes. He said they have a full accessory catalog ready to go, and they will be posting it to their website soon. The chat was really informative and I asked the questions that I think you all might have wanted to know. ...And Johnny is right, we do get the leather jacket!!!

An ACCESSORY CATALOG or a FULL COLOR MERCURY MARAUDER BROCHURE ?
The only thing close to an ACCESSORY catalog that I've seen is a FMSP Parts Catalog... :rolleyes: :depress:

BTW, have any of you gone to the PONTIAC MALL site to see what ACESSORIES they are offering ???

I sent a link of the site back to the Mercury people,
and the MyMercury.com site was shut down soon after that.
They are planning to reopen MyMercury.com in early 2005.

I hope they come up with some cool merchandise...

I'd like to know why you chose the Fram Air Hog as opposed to K&N? Is it also oil impregnated. I been thinking of blacking out the chrome trim around the window as well, (soon as it gets warm enough) how's it holding up? Also watch the the skull caps i use to run them on a Monte Carlo till someone stole them, also running the non led Skull and Bones license plate frame, adds a little sinister touch to it.
