I was following this story locally, since I drive by that store daily. The cops had to go to his house first to remove any other weapons, as his pistol that went off in Wally world was confiscated. He asked the judge for low bail so that he could support his family, so the judge let him go with $25K personal recognizance! To me, this man should be in the hospital being evaluated, not walking the streets!

Same old story, let's see if he can behave while he awaits trial.

I second the nomination for idiots parade.

Hey, The guy hadn't seen Full Metal Jacket in a while and forgot the rule:

"This is my pistol and this is my gun, this is for fighting and this is for fun!"

BTW: Maybe Charle's great grandfather's name was Bat...:D

I always enjoy how writers choose thier words. Take this sentence in the article for example: "The precaution backfired when the gun discharged Tuesday night while Masterson was in the bathroom."

Now come on. The 'gun' didn't do jack all by itself and Masterson was not a by-stander. The hammerhead pulled the trigger.

If I were editior, it would have read "The precaution backfired as he didn't complete it properly by leaving his finger off the trigger."

I get the same feeling when I read "The SUV plowed through crowd and injured 7." When in fact it should read "A confused old man drove his SUV into the crowd and injured 7."

Just as the SUV is not the responsible party, neither was hammerhead's gun.

Blaming a gun for killing people, is like blaming my pencil for spelling errors.
