Balance of Terror, the first episode to be remastered, is airing this weekend. Check the schedule of your local UPN affiliate. Here in Birmingham, it's scheduled for 12:30 PM Sunday afternoon.

I'm the odd-ball. I dislike ToS and DS9. For some reason, Voyager and TNG were my favorites. And, the recent Enterprise wasn't bad either.

However, I like Stargate far better than all of the above :)

I didn't get into the original Star Trek when it initially ran on NBC between 8 Sep '66 and 3 Jun '69. At the time, I was 16-18 years old and probably had better things to do between 8:30-9:30 PM on Thursday and Friday nights. Can't say that I even saw much more than a couple episodes when it was running in prime time. However, later when it was in syndication, TOS captured my interest and I am pretty sure that I have now seen all of the 79 episodes aired more than once. IMHO -- the show was well done, the characters well thought out and developed, and the storylines were always pretty good.

Haven't been able to get into any of the follow-on series .... of course, I don't really watch all that much network TV anymore.

I think Stargate Atlantis is a better show. Anyone here ever watch Firefly? Firefly was by far my favorite and I wish it was still running.
