Check this guy out....MSNBC interviewed him after trying to find out who he was....a phenom! I only caught part of the story but he only practiced for three weeks before he did this vid and is mostly self taught....I saw it on MSNBC earlier this afternoon.

Sounds a whole lot like the TransSiberian Orchestra, which is really a rock band, but I don't remember the name of the group. I remember seeing an interview where they said they made MUCH more money as TSO playing Christmas music than the did the rest of the year as rockers.

For those of you not in the guitar scene.

He is playing a "cover" from a fellow named Malmsteen.

Malmsteen is/was the phenom. That kid is just plain talented.

Check out Satriani posers as well. ;)

Only pointing out the kid, not his choice of music. My buddy used to sing lead vocals for Yngwie J. Malmsteen.

You actually hit your 'reply' button shortly before I did.
I was not responding to your post, as ironic and on the nose it was.

This time, I am replying however...

Props!

My buddy used to watch his video.:D

That's pretty cool. I always liked Jeff Healey. Seen him live a couple of times.

Nobody "seen" him dead yet, 'cept maybe Harry Potter. Marauder Related (sorry) I saw a 2003 300A yesterday with only 300 miles on the odometer.

Ynqwie was on G-3 2005, G-3 2006 is out it's Vai, Satriani, and Petrucci this time. :)

Petrucci is still my favorite due to his style, but being a gotta love anything from Vai, Satriani, or Malmsteen.
