I was checking through the dealer Locator for Royalpita,
I noticed some equiptment that was ordered on 2006 CPVI.
53M Noise supressor bond straps
177 Silicone hoses with aircraft straps
14t trunk pac kevlar liner
and standard was a hour meter
I know by description, what the last three are.
what are the Noise supressor straps?
No, I'm not going to put them on my car.
Just wondering.
where is the hour meter located?

a series of little ground straps connecting the trunk and hood and exhaust system and other metal things together so radio transmission and reception are better for the two ways and data ....RAM

Extra grounding wires, helps cut down on whining noise in radios.

The hour meter is just an extra display in the digital odometer and trip meter ...totals idling time in park and neutral...so you can schedule you maintenance better... one hour of idling is equal to 33 road miles in engine time according to Ford..

I think it's a gagging strap for back seat passengers.

I think the ground goes to the "Private Parts" before the interogation. The hour meter is to tell when the perp is done. That's after given his miranda first of course

Even with the second cancer surgery, I have not been idle... However, the radiac meter is showing 3 roentgens...and the prunes should take care of the pita. I have been flush with success, at 1.6 US Gallons per use. On the morrow I should be motoring along in my Grand Marquis 2000 Marauder Edition Florida Special padded roof and all...Easterly by North to the Maine coast for some more idling...and Lobstah. Should the urge arise, I may head south on I95 to Old Town in Kissimmee for da IV...the Marauderville IV that is...yours in the fellowship of Panthers. Soon to be all assembled in St Thomas...formerly cousins, now to be brothers all... TC,CV,GM. Japanese optometrist to patient..."you have Cataract" Japanese patient to optometrist...." no, I have Rinkoln... Now you know why I do not use the NorthStar for directions...Cyclopsram...one orb is all there is..and I think when the nice docs took it they may have performed a partial frontal lobodomy...enough..they may start calling me pita and I would not want to take that distinction from RoyL...

I meant the Hour Meter on your '06 CVPI. But thanx for answering my question in the way that you saw fit.

The NYPD used to have them on the dash.
They stopped installing them several years ago.
The cars are serviced at 4,000 mile intervals.
