After stopping for the night in Cheyenne, WY, I had an opportunity to chat with two WY State Troopers in the restaurant where I had dinner. They pulled in in two cars. One a CVPI and the other a Charger.
Possibly the worst paint scheme I've ever seen on State Trooper / HP cars!
Dark Blue with snot yellow logos and 'buckle-up' warnings.
I asked them how they liked the Charger and they seemed to like it.
I told them that more power was expected in the next CVPI model year.
They didn't particularly like my comment about trying to 'PIT' somebody in a unibody car.
I got to check it out up close after going outside.
Nice big 18" wheels. Tiny one person cage in the back seat behind the passenger bucket seat no wider than the seat itself. Had the smaller HEMI.
Large console between the buckets full of gear.
Overall the interior looked cramped and uncomfortable compared to the CVPI.
Regards,
Dave
