Does $20,900 starting price from a dealer seem like a pretty good deal for a black 05 mustang gt coupe with 6800 miles in excellent condition?

Which dealer, and what's their phone #?

I'll tell you if it's a good deal after I buy it.

I just traded in my 05 mustang gt with 7K miles. It had every option except the automatic and cost me sticker when new ($27,900). One month later I saw it on the lot for $29,000. Another month later and it was $27,000. Three days later it was gone. I'm going to assume the buyer worked an even deeper discount...maybe $25,000?

Watch out for Katrina cars!

I would say it depends on what the options are. Not too long ago I remember seeing an 06 GT brand new from Brandon Ford for around 22-23 IIRC

Does $20,900 starting price from a dealer seem like a pretty good deal for a black 05 mustang gt coupe with 6800 miles in excellent condition?Try a search at www.AutoTrader.com (http://www.AutoTrader.com), include your zip and it will find all available in your area. You can average from there?

EDIT: I just took a peek myself, and got hits from 33,900. to 16,900, in 60655. Looks like 20,900. is a fair price if you like the car.

There was one in the paper this last weekend with 10,000 miles for $14,995 from a dealer.

Id' have to say that is high.

The question was is $20,900 a good starting price. Maybe I misunderstood. I still say it's a good start: the dealer is asking $20,900 and surely will take less. Bid your price!
