No bolts visible in the intake or S/C mounting..
the rear of the block is purple and front is silver..
No injectors or carb..belts are just dropped in place..
Sheet covering stand-living room?? didn't use hoist or
engine stand to put it there. Would damage harwood floor
-quickly asembled peice by peice in room!
It must be just a mock up motor for a scam!

AACCKK! Pink dining room I feel a seizure coming on!!

Wow, I have made more elaborate layouts than that to sell $10 parts on ebay.

For example ... (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&item=230031388781&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1)

I think if I was going to spend $37,000, I'd want to see a few more pictures!

My cammer block is one of those new all 427 Aluminium Carrol Shelby Blocks...

It's really nice... and light ...just had to have the SOHC oil bosses drilled...

These guy: make those blocks: http://www.payr.com/
I have a couple of their products.
The Cammer is a famous older engine.
If you look close at the rear of that engione on e-bay. It looks like one of these fakes.
Alot of the "newer" guys are calling the new modular engines a cammer.
But the old origional 427 cammer is a Single OverHead Cam 427. Usually referred to as the "Cammer". One of the top engines Ford ever built.

It's a 5.0L T-365 aluminum block 4V DOHC, with a lot of the latest techincal goodies. N/A, it delivers 400BHP and 365 BTQ. P/N is M-6007-T50EA, page 41 of the '06 catalogue, 14,995.00 plus shipping.

Add a Kenne Bell twin screw, or, a Trilogy kit and season to taste and you're King of the Hill. 600+ to the wheels...Sick.

Yes!

One sweet engine...My brother and I stuffed one in our Cobra....but we didn't go the SOHC 'Cammer' route.
We did a 468 CID stroker with fully ported Shelby aluminum heads and 2x4bbl Holleys on a DOVE tunnel wedge manifold.

550++ HP in a 2450 LB car makes for a SCARY ride!:eek:

427 SOHC CAMMERS are one of my favorite engines...along with the BOSS 429s!

FORD made some badazz big blocks.

I can't say anything about the rest of your observations (good ones), but the front of the block is silver because it's the aluminum timing chain cover. The injectors are in the top shotgun hat.
