Would be a bit of a drive for you but it's in the Queen Mary parking lot
in Long Beach, CA. Info says it starts at 7am. and runs till 5pm.

Hi Jim

Newfoundlands are a breed of large dogs(usually all black) that work well for water rescue. My "son" is a year and a half old and weighs about 140lbs. They have webbing between their toes and are very strong swimmers. This was a test to rescue a swimmer and also tow in a rowboat. Pretty cool stuff. If I can remember how to load a pic in my gallery I'll put in a couple pic's of my "son".
