I've seen SrgntMac posted 14.2.

What did the other Marauders run?
There were 5 others that raced, right?

Do you only want the even times, or will the odd times do also?

See sig.

Only run once, to see what it's like and to say: Done that, been there.

With a little practice and more serious effort, I probably could have run under 15 sec. with a bone stock MM. I know that someone else, has already done that, but they most likely are more experienced and spent more time on the track.

I was happy with what I got. I'll do it again sometime.

I talked to several SS owners. They said (not specific to what year), that a bone stock SS would aboout mid 15sec. That's what I was told, just repeating.

Your best time of that day would be great.

I noticed, that not many if any Marauders did a burnout. Could that be why they were so bad off the line?
Coming to the event, I was thinking the MM's would run atleast 14.9s. With the cold weather and all...

This was my first time at the track too MM2003. :) So no excuses! :P

About stock SS's, those guys were right. I ran 2 bone stock Impalas, and they both did between 15.4 to 15.6. Neither of them warmed up the tires. I bet that would of helped some...

My last run was the best run out of 5 passes.

R/T .820

60' 2.317

1/4 15.356

MPH 92.42

I have to agree with Sarge, the track conditions were not that great. If they had dumped any more track tac on the strip the cars would have left the stagging tree without the tires. We should have a get together at another drag strip some time.

CalipSSo - you can add my run

MMM2003 15.17@93.9mph

I'll try it next time with burnouts. I agree, I have seen others post 14.8 sec. with a bone stock Marauder. That's what I was hoping for.
On the burnout, it is my understanding, that with the 18" tires and gear ratio (3.55), we got plenty of traction and don't "need" a burnout to heat up the tires. Same thing with tire pressure. I noticed a lot of SS guys, changing their tire pressure before dragging!

I ran 14.95 late last year as a best time of the night (80's and humid) heads up against a Stock Impala SS. This run was after heating the tires up in the water box. Compared to the other runs, this made the launch much better, no tire spin just GO. These times were on a Stock MM, I am hoping to get back to the track next week and see what the Stage II will do. I am looking forward to see how I compare to Sarge, ideally I would like to be below 14 sec but we will have to see.
