Yeah...it's mine...and it's filthy...but you should see the underneath!!!

After several weeks of being buried...we were a little slow this afternoon...so Bryan did me the favor of dropping the exhaust, driveshaft, etc. And, the underside is now completely sprayed with bedliner to protect it (and for a little extra sound suppression - I already have the entire interior, headliner, trunk Dynomatted). I think it turned out GREAT!!!

Looks great. I guess they had to disassemble a lot of stuff to get it out of the way to do the spray on bedliner?

Actually Bryan did the work...I helped mask everything off...here is what we used. About $10 a can...4 cans used.

OK Todd, now you need one of those thingies you put the car on so you can rotate it in the air at shows so the folks can admire both sides. Like on a barbecue spit.

Todd looks sweet.

You have the long tubed headers and no S/C. How does it affect low RPM Hp? I want to get the long headers, stay with factory cats/ mufflers, and get new stainless steel piping. What do you think of such a set up? Will I need a custom tune? I want to stay stock as much as possible engine wise.

If one was to go to your shop and get a custome exhaust, will this bedliner stuff be able to be sprade on while the old exhaust is off and the new exhaust is being bent?

Todd,

Looks very nice. I have been wanting to do something similiar with the POR-15, but of course want to do the full prep and "paint" with it, but never have the time and the car is still being driven every day, so can't let it sit to do the work. Some day.

I still wish I was closer to have you guys do up one of your beautiful exhaust systems on my car.

My car runs as strong as any N/A Marauder anywhere at over 300 RWHP & over 320 RWTQ...just ask any of the many who've driven it

Sorry..this is not a service we would provide...think of it this way...my shop is no different than my personal garage. I was just showing some pics of something I did in my "personal garage". We don't perform this service to our customers. But, thanks for asking.

I understand and respect that. I can live without the bed liner. However, are the headers from Stainless Work?

Allow me to get specific. Since we cannot talk business I will just ask for your opinion. What do you personally, with your experience, feel about this set up:

Stainless Works long headers, Cats if cannot be OEM (Magnaflow or whatever you recommend that won't make the car loud), stock OEM Mufflers and new piping (what ever size, material that you will recommend for long durability?

Will such a setup affect low RPM torque? I don't have any plans to s/c my engine.

Will I need a custom tune to go with said set up?

And lastly, will the car pass emission testing if state required under said set up?

Thanks for sharing all the great pics from your "personal garage."

I, unfortunately, only have a car port and not much to share.:D

Just keep in mind one thing Mark (and any others liking this idea)...I did NOT spray above both CATs. It would get much too hot there even with the CAT's heat-shields in place for this treatment. So...if you're thinking of doing this...be careful where you spray.

I just typed out a HUGE, long "Mac-like" response and it's "timed-out" on my signin twice. Feel free to give me a call at the shop next week @ 770.426.0763 and I'll be glad to help in any way. I'm there Mon-Fri 8:30 - 6pm...
