Got some pics today of da old stomp'n groundz in Kailua...had to take
the wife's Freestyle in for some maintenance...
Note the prices on da GT...and you guys thought mainland prices were bad, sheesh!
They had a white one w/ black stripes; sold it within a 1/2 hour of putting it on the showroom floor
for an even $300k...probably went to one of the "Lost" cast members, for that kind of money...
For the rest uv ya...this is the showroom at MacKenna's Windward Ford. For anyone that's interested,
they've got a 5.0 engine (the whole engine, not just the block) that they pulled from an Explorer (dunno what
happened to the rest of the truck, but they got the engine). It's sitting on an engine stand in front of the
parts room and they want $2700 for it...figured maybe someone here might be in the mood for an engine project.
The only trick would be figgerin' out how to ship it back to the mainland....
