I am so smart I just sold 4 snow tires I had sitting in my driveway. I threw caution to the wind in Mid-October and sold snow tires. :) BRING IT ON!

What I didn't mention is that these are 15" snowies from my old car...so...guess it wasn't all that daring. :)

Snow already??? Where are you located?? Please update your profile with a place so we can associate you with a region. :D

I don't want no snowy streets. I don't want any icy meets. I don't like Green Eggs and Ham. No, I don't like it ... Sam I Am.

WEe had some light flurries here in Central Iowa last night, but no accumulation of any kind. Well, I guess a little on the grill cover on the porch, but that was it.

Really not looking forward to or wanting to put the snow wheels/tires on the car for the winter. Seems like it wasn't that long ago that I took them off of the car. I really can't wait to afford a winter beater to save the Marauder.

I am ready for winter! I had enough of sweat and gnats and trying to grow grass!

Now if I can make it to the 2nd week of November with out hearing a frackin Chrismas song or holiday add, I'll really be happy.

...snip...Now if I can make it to the 2nd week of November with out hearing a frackin Chrismas song or holiday add, I'll really be happy.Too late hear, some stores here have Christmas stuff up right next to Halloween stuff. And come Nov 1 one station here in Detroit plays 24hrs of Christmas music til Jan 7th. Uggghhhhh. I hate the commercialization of Christmas.

On the topic at hand, we had some major flakes(not counting people) but no accumulation.

Lake Effect snow has just begun here in Buffalo. Cars are getting covered as I type. I am sure it will be gone in no time, but seeing all this snow this early in the season really sucks.

Got snow last night as well and we're supposed to get more tonight. Gotta get the Marauder's winter shoes out from storage soon.

Snow?? Just too early to talk about snow yet, it's just barely Fall!! It's 70 degrees here in Maryland today. May get real cold and go into the high 50s, low 60s tomorrow and Saturday.

Wow, snow this early, that would be heart breaking for me. It is cold here today (mid 40s) but, early this week it was mid 70s and is supposedly going to make it back to that.

 Snow...who would have thought it would happen this early? No accumaltion here to speak of, but plenty of flakes flying yesterday and last night. This morning they shut down the Thruway between Rochester and Buffalo (something like six inches!!). I knew moving here from Texas was a mistake.

hahaha. It's a balmy 90 here outside of Phoenix. I moved out here from Auburn, NY (near Syracuse) 4 years ago....haven't seen snow since....but I do miss the better driving and the food.

Laugh it up funny boy! I guess the only thing I say in return is that in July when it's a 120 in the shade there it will only be 80 here. Man I miss the heat!

 Vader, good point. gets pretty hot out here....gonna switch out my thermostat eventually. Anyway, considering that the only think separating you and Pete is Lake Ontario, shouldn't you both end your sentences with 'eh'?

I've got family in Buffalo. 15 inches, trees down, 400,000 w/o power. The airport was closed for sometime yesterday, and the thruway reopened today. My father-in-law is escaping here for a few days till power comes back on. Trees with leaves and snow is a bad thing.

A few years ago we had an ice storm here in Quebec and my family lost power for 11 days. Lucy for me i had just installed a wood stove.
