The CAMarauders managed a clean sweep at the UPS car show in Laurel, MD. This show was supposed to be big .... IT WAS HUGE. There were an estimated 1,500 cars registered for the event. Awards were presented in 47 different classes. Congrats to Joe Walsh, Mike Poore, and Bluerauder for bringing home the bacon on this outing. It was a very good day against some very stiff competition.

Some pics of the event ....

With the Bluerauder. The 1st Place Trophy in Class 9 went to a Ford GT Gunmetal Silver with White Stripes. I feel pretty encouraged that it took a $170,000 super car to beat the Bluerauder on this outing.

Good job guys!

Sorry I couldn't make it. The honey do list won out over my Marauder fun.

Con grads Charlie and Joe for winning!. Man now I wish I stayed lol. It took the dyno guys 6 times to get it going where it wouldn't downshift cause I didn't know how to lock it in 3rd and I forget what the base line with current mods and stock tune was but with DR tune 277rwhp and 309 ft. lbs. tq. which I think is a little off but oh well, had a nice crowd watching. I'll post up the pics and the video of my dyno runs once I get them loaded in a little bit.

Neat little Panoz car, it has a 32v 4.6, I can't remember if it was s/c or n/a. I'm sure Joe knows.

I had a lot of fun with you guys today!

Chris, you should have stuck around...we missed you after your dyno runs.

When they say BIG car show, they mean BIG car show!!
They were announcing winning cars with registration numbers in the 1200s...we all got there pretty early and were in the 200s, 300s, and 400s.

Tons of super high quality rides of all descriptions.

I finally got to see Mike Poore's 'Sunshine' in person. That is one sweet, low mile, all original Feature Mustang... (Hey Mike, do you like the banana? heh heh)

Congrats to Charlie, the judges were really impressed by his BLUE Marauder!

He beat one other Ford GT and would have won it all if the judges hadn't deducted points for a non-OEM color Marauder!:D :D

What a great outing! I'll unload and post any of my pix that are worthwhile.

Congratulations, Joe! I was thinking your's was the class act of the show, and happy to see it took first. Sorry I didn't/couldn't stay, but barely made it home by dark as it was, nearly freezing my azz off. Thank god for that big 'ol leather jacket.

Ain't it a hoot, Charlie taking 2nd, beating out the other Ford GT, and the Bentley GS, not to mention all them ricers.

It was neat, hanging out with you guys all day; but Barb wants us to explain about the Banana peel. :D
