Your Tigers have done what few would have predicted at the beginning of the season.
I proudly wore my authentic Diamond fitted Tigers ball cap with the "SOCK IT TO 'EM TIGERS" button, from their last World Series victory, to the car show, yesterday.

Thanks....They actually had one of the few that predicted the World Series for the Tigers on the news this week. They featured an assembly line worker, I think at a Chrysler plant in Detroit, that was in Vegas in February. He placed a $150 bet that the Tigers would win the World Series.....the odds..... 65 to 1! Not a bad payoff. It was sureal to watch them play Oakland. Hats off to one hell of a coaching job.

Manager Jim Leyland made the statement that "the Tigers had good ballplayers but had a bad team" at the start of the season. Now he said that the Tigers have a good ball "team".

I don't think St. Louis or the Mets can stop them now.

Just think, the "Superbowl", the "Allstar Game" and now the "World Series" in Detroit all in the same year. Oh, I forgot the "Dream Cruise" too.
