How many in here have tattoo's??? How many? Where? Got a story behind it?

I have 6 tattoos, 4 on the arms, and 2 on the back...no exciting stories behind them....I will have a full sleeve eventually.....tattoo's are spendy

I have one on my back, it is for the martial art I do, Shotokan. I got it in 2004 to commemorate 15 years of life as a Bushi, following the way of the open hand.

I have an alchemy array on my right arm, call the Grand Arcanum. It was used to forge the fabled Philosipher's Stone. It's from a Japanese anime I watch called Full Metal Alchemist. The pic is right after it was done.

I am from a related but different sect -- the Munchies. I follow the way of the full plate! :D Our symbol is the knife and fork. I have that tattooed on my belly. I will post pictures later.

Lots...all Celtic/Gaelic origin. Some from the Book of Kells. Mostly zoomorphics in black/grey. Both sides of my family are from Northern Ireland.

Why go through all the pain and trouble to have the image of U.S. currency "inkyed on my winky"??

If it makes you feel any better, I got all of my tattoos when I *WAS* a sailor in the U.S. Navy.

Also, I've arrested a whole bunch of people who wound up in the Texas prison system in my 14 years as a law enforcement officer. Does that count? ;)

I think its regional. Here in the south, Panama City is a Spring Break mecca, hence around these parts, number 5 is the term most used.:rolleyes:
