TC other than PI

When I had my Firehawk there was quite a bit of debate about Yank and PI converters for the GM vehicles. After doing a search I haven't seen much discussion here about Yank converters or the Yank/Gear Star transmissions for Ford.

Does anybody have any feedback/comparison/experience with these that they could share?

I highly recommend CircleD (http://www.circledspecialties.com/product_page.html). Their quality is excellent and a very duable product. I'm running a 9" custom unit from them. They can also rebuild and improve a PI TC with much better clutch material.
