Team Ford had two black Saleen S331's in stock, one supercharged and one normally aspirated. Carl offered Todd and me a chance to test drive it. Woaw, this is one kickbutt vehicle. It drives and feels like a sports car, not a truck. It has a functional heat extraction hood, which I really, really like. The blower is placed in such a way that it isn't immediately noticable when you open the hood, though you do notice the cooling system upgrade (twin electric fans). Tires are fat BFG KDW2's on 23" wheels. The suspension is upgraded with different springs, shocks and sway bars (this thing just does not lean, and feels like a Marauder with all the suspension upgrades). Of course, hit the pedal and you get tossed back in the seat, the custom exhaust blasting out beautiful music. Awesome truck.
Carl tried to sell it to me, but I would take a drubbing on my '06 Harley Truck and since this is their first Saleen S331, no discount for me. It was almost $60K sticker. Youch!
