Ouch!

Who'd you let move your car?

Grab a black "Sharpie" magic marker and touch it up, it will minimize the appearance.

Can you re-phrase that?

It is going to rain in an hour or two :alone:

Rain won't hurt it. The magic marker dries in a minute or so, and you can re-touch as necessary.

Did you let someone else move your car? Actually looks like it could have been from a shopping cart???? Bicycle handle bars?? Steel garbage can?

The Sharpie idea works great. Holds up well in the rain. Passed off a Black Escort on a dealer trade in with a scratch on the entire driver door. Dealer never noticed it.

Nope, no one moved my car.
I went shopping though might of happened with-in that time frame.

Also I looked on my hood and counted 142 scratches on it :alone:

Wow, that sucks. So, you woke up and came to that? Is your MM parked in the open?

The good news is, we have all seen a lot of shops doing SUPERIOR paint work these days. In days of old, no-one could do a decent job.

My Nephew had paint work done after a deer impact. I couldn't tell, PERFECT color match.

Most likely from the horrible winter here in Canada.

My Nephew is in Norther Virginia.

We have a place called Gerstner's here in Buffalo. Does great work!

I can get the number for you later this evening if intersted. I'm sure you have shops up there that can do great work. I just think technology has improved such, that shops are more capable of factory results.

Ouch, that hurts. :bigcry: That certainly looks like a deliberate key job. :( Is your parking area protected at all or is there walking traffic through the lot?

The lip over the wheel should have protected it against inadvertant hits and scratches. That's why the location seems "on purpose" to me.

I parked at the back to avoid idiotic children playing around by slamming the door on my car.
No it wasn't protected in that region of the parking lot of Price Choppers.

I will investigate more on this hopefull I will find the culprut.
