1/4 mile.. well if it's off a cliff straight down, about 7.65!!! Shooting for low 12's high 11's when she's done though.

Beer, refill OOHHHH YEAH!! (That was #5 that night.... I think.)

Updates? sure..
With the long rainy weekend, I got the engine compartment aprons in, the rad supports and the Motor mounts for the MustangII kit installed. Have a few things to do up front , then, I'll be puttin the back half of the roll cage in, then the rear 1/4's and tailight panel.
When I bought it, it seems that I just bought a roof and the title!!
Already did both floors, both toeboards , rebuilt the firewall, removed and rebuilt the cowl, new seat platforms, new custom rear frame rails, subframe connectors, rebuilt the right front frame rail, narrowed the 9' spring perches and some other stuff.
"and miles to go before I sleep"

Nice,

Here's the questions then:

What's going under the hood? 427 side oiler or 4.6 Marauder engine?

What kind of Transmission, 4spd or maybe a 5 spd?

9" rear?

What color is she gonna be??

What kind of wheels? Maybe Torq Thrusts??

Sounds (and looks) a lot like mine. Funny how one car can be disassembled and fill all 3 bays of a garage!

Looks like you've got the highback buckets in yours too. I'm using the '70 Mach 1 highbacks in mine. I also put in the subframe connectors and a 9" rear from a Lincoln Versailles (same width and perch width, plus disc brakes), traction masters, rear sway bar, panhard rod, staggered rear shocks, new springs and poly bushings. Up front I went with the big block style inner fender supports, lowered upper control arms, wedge kit, Eibach progressive springs, oversize sway bar, all poly bushings, 4-piston disc brakes, and manual steering. I'm using a '70 351C 4V engine (closed chamber quench heads) with 4-bolt main caps and all the internal goodies to make it scream. I'll be using the close ratio 4-speed toploader and Hurst shifter from a '70 Mach 1. It is a factory air conditioned car with fold-down back seat, overhead console, GT fog lights, and tilt-away column. Mine is ready for paint and assembly work, but it's on the back burner right now. When you get yours a little further on and post pics, maybe that'll inspire me to get on with it!

Well, there ya go boys and girls...See what happens when you use vinegar on anything automotive? Best to keep it on your salads, eh?

Rich, that's going to be one nice car some day, I'll bet on it. Good luck in your adventure.

He said he hopes to run 11's-12's. I doubt he will be using the 4.6 Marauder engine!

In the Mustang? Sure it could especially if S/C

Maybe he'll use the new FRP DOHC 5.0

I have a 420 horse 390 for it. Close ratio toploader from a 70 428 car, 9" of course.
Color? I'm planning on a dark brown metallic with gold stripes. The interior will be Buckskin or Parchment, not sure yet.
My plan is to run the 390 ( I've owned the car for 5 years, have yet to drive it!) for a while when it's done. Then find a 427 or a 428 (and add an aftermarket cross bolt setup) to turbocharge.
I've always desired a twin turbo big block Mustang.

I appreciate the comments on my shop. It's a 2 story. we park up top, and my shop is down below. Took alot of work, but was well worth it. Needs a fridge yet.
