Noticed it has been reported the Impala SS will be the COT (car of tomorrow) replacing the Monte Carlo, Also the Dodge Avenger will be the Chrysler entry in 2007. Wish Ford would do a special edition CV and enter it. No way in heck Merc gonna do anything.

And the Toyota Camry makes it debut in NASCAR in 2007. That reminds me ... gotta find a new driver ... in a Ford.

Yea, the Fusion has been in for a while since the Taurus stopped production. Ford really should enter the CV or something of equal value with RWD stock and a V8, and we all know it won't be the Mustang. ::hint hint::

^^^^^^^ What he said. There hasn't been any "real" stock car racing in a few decades. Todays stock cars are about as real as Burt Reynold's hair.
Thats not to say that there isn't great racing involved, its just that the cars in the racing circut share little in common with what is available in the showroom.

So which part of the impala will make it to the track? An emblem? The screws from the bottom of the rear bumper? Maybe one of washers from the hood?

NASCAR is a joke.
