The builders have it on Ebay now, no minimum bid and no reserve. Currently, high bid is a bit over $17K.

Hey Donnie; Would you rather have the one on e-bay or the S-331 Saleen you drove the other day...

Wow that is a sharp looking truck. Do they plan on making that even though it was a custom job? Too bad there is no engine shots and don't tell you if it has more done other than SCT and exhaust. You drove a 331? How was it? Did you drive the s/c'ed one or just the N/A one?

It was the S/C truck....I think he should go ahead and stroke a check for it saturday when he picks up his warranty goodyear tire for his HD PU

True. I wanted to post another thread because the builders orginally had it up as a "make an offer" with a buy now of $60K. They had offers, but didn't take any. Now it's up as a no reserve auction. Much more interesting.
Just thought I'd bring it member's attention.

Hey Donnie; Would you rather have the one on e-bay or the S-331 Saleen you drove the other day...
The Ebay truck is a one-off, very unique and sharp as hell. No warranty, however, but I'm sure Scott and Jason could handle any issues. The S-331 was great, but wasn't optioned as well as I would want for a $59K vehicle. I talked with the sales manager for Saleen, and you can have a Saleen dealer like Team order a truck like you want, then send it to them for conversion to the S-331. That would be cool, but you'd still be looking at mid to upper 50's (or over 60K).
The HD F250 on Ebay would cost a lot less. If I had to pick one over the other, I'd go with the Ebay truck.

They will convert F-250's to this version. The Ebay truck is their prototype. In fact, they have shots on their website of an '08 F-250, which should be even more awesome. You basically buy a donor F-250 (it can be plain or a used truck in good condition) and they convert it.
The S-331 was amazing to drive. It felt like a Corvette, had impressive power. The blower was noticable only when you got into boost. Very, very nice. I was impressed.

I'd lose $12K in the deal. They appraised the Harley Truck (with only 6,000 miles) at $25K, I paid $37K for it 4 months ago. While they were nice enough not to add a markup to the sticker (the first two in their inventory), there was no discount on the price and the only thing going for it was a Ford rebate of $2,000. You take what I owe on the Harley (which is more than $25K) and add it to $60,000 and that's what the payments would be.
Nah, I'll keep the Harley, which is a great truck with options I want, and just add the blower and other stuff. Most of the parts on the S-331 are available for sale, so I can put on the blower, twin fan radiator, heat extraction hood, exhaust, suspension parts, instruments, etc.
It would be cool to show up with the S-331 at SSHS, though.

I know that guy from the Powerstroke Club.....http://www.northtexaspowerstrokes.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-6547
That truck has been thoroughly flogged and had the ***** beaten out of it. Daddy bankrolled the entire project.

Thanks Donny for all the info! Reguardless, both are very nice trucks. I wonder if he sold it at the price it sold for. $25k?
