Anyone think this is worth the money or just some "snake oil"?

"...it has a new generation design..."

It's a rectangular block of aluminium with 2 holes in it. :shake:

These things are marginally useful on a motor with TBI, but not on ours.

I have had marginal success on ricers using throttle body spacers. Remember, though. When you are only starting with 110 HP, +2 HP is a lot more than when you are starting with 300!!!!
I'd pay no more than 30-50 bucks, just for bling factor and to experiment.

Then again, I could just make my own.

Not quite the same scenario as I have a 2001 Crown Vic. My TB was a 65mm stock, single circle opening. On my engine I felt like there was a change by adding a 1" spacer... but after giving it a week and playing with it the psychological factor went away and now there is no difference. I would bet on your engine there is an equal bonus of added weight, added bling, no performance increase/decrease. It just looks cool cuz it's shiny under my hood. Good luck on it if you want one for bling... but for performance it's not even worth the time to remove your TB let alone R&R.

(*Performance level may vary among applications and driving style)

Kinda says it all, eh?

i have one on my 93 grand marquis. its sounds cool. makes a whistling noise. and i had to dremmel out a quarter because i didnt have a washer that big with a small hole. i bought one for my marauder off jegs.com and it was 49.99. the installation of the spacer is easy, but getting the linkage to the right distance sucks large quantities of fecal matter. it comes nowhere close with what they give you. the correct spacing on mine was a lug nut from a 92 GM and 2 washers. it was cool, for about 5 minutes. now its sitting on my shelf in my garage. if anyone wants to take a whack at installiing this thing on their baby, let me know. ill send ya everything that came with it and you can figure it out. suck.
