This is a prototype made by Magindat from Alum plate. It has a much bigger bite and extraction that the POS plastic piece. No road time as yet but the bling bling from the front with the car on the ground is over the top, perfect. (I know no pics but I promised no front shots) I expect lower temps. My aux. tranny cooler is above and above that is the famous Defyant lower grill mod. Dennis... check with Rich on the deflector.

At regular standing height, the view through the lower grille mod is filled with the leading edge of the plate. Me likey.
Chalk up one more for the King of Bling.
Wait 'till you see what's next, Big D!

Thanx for posting it up.

It's a little shorter height than factory. I no longer scrape most curbs. Only the highest ones that I probly would have avoided in the past anyways, but I've tried them on purpose.

My car is not lowered, but I do have slightly more rake than normal due to tire sizing.

Cool!!

I got mine UPS this week too and will have to get it on as soon as it is running. I might need a second one now...

Wanted to show it off, Rich. the quality is right on, it looks great, fits perfectly and should do a better job than the OEM. Whats not to like? I am eagerly awaiting "whats next" Thanks again. :2thumbs: Dennis

Looks much nicer than the OEM plastic one but why do you want something that will get knocked off (bent up) from parking lot "bump stops"??

I took my OEM one off 2 years ago and it has to be removed for the FIT S/C install......No problems that I can tell without one!!:bows:

Nice "Bling" though....Careful parking!!

I must be driving like a little old lady ( NOT you LISA:D ) as I have never hit a Bump Stop. My dad told me 50 years ago that driving till you HIT something is probably not a capitol idea, In fact he told me that twice, once when training for my license exam and then again after I totaled his car. Ugh. Still a hurtful memory. A big Ford, his first ever brand new car. Anyway if you hit the OEM plastic piece on a regular basis this mod may not be a great idea. Removal completely may or may not be a good idea but I am more comfortable knowing that I am getting the max flow possible to maintain temps as low as possible. Heat is the enemy of everything under the hood. Dennis
