Well, Football season is still here but I am glad that Basketball season has started again...The Dallas Mavericks were playing host to the team that they kicked out of the playoffs last year in a great 7 game second round series that saw two overtime games. Probabley one of the best playoff series in a long time. Playing at home the Mavericks decided not to raise their Western Conference Championship banner infront of their in state rivals the Spurs. Mr. Cuban, the owner of the Mavericks, thought it was not the time to do it as raising the banner infront of their own home crowd would not "stir the pot" so to speak. In stead the Mavricks will choose to raise thier banner on their second home game, get this, aginst Don Nelson, the former Mavericks coach. Well its a good thing they didn't raise their banner last night cause the Spurs would have soured it for them....Spurs win 97-91 after trailing almost the whole game.....then took the lead for good in the 4th.
