HA! It's a 91. For some reason, they made a lot of Formulas with the TBI 5.0, which isn't a high output. It's still a fun car to drive, but the RPM's top out too soon.

Once you see an F-body Firebird, you've seen them all lol. Same goes for the fox body 'Stang's no matter how much I love them!

I used to have a ruby red metallic 89 Formula with the 5.0 TBi 700R4 combo, did alot of work to it was a fun car, but my Firehawk vert with LS1 T56 combo is quite sweet in itself, Have some extra performance parts for that car laying around, an Edelbrock TBI intake is one of them, PM me if you want to start making it as fast as it looks.

It is interesting to see how HP levels have changed, nowadays you can get more HP in a stock Motorcycle.

I used to own a 90 Formula and took it to Santiago, Chile when I was stationed there. One of the best cars I ever owned. It was only rated at 215 hp but with a 5 speed it was pretty quick nevertheless and Id love to have that car back. Its still cruisin the streets down there Im sure. Pics in my gallery.

Thought I might as well now put up a pick of my old one, I miss this car.

Did cam and heads, headers and full exhaust, full msd ignition, 3.73 posi rear Bilstien Suspension, and the best upgrade, power lumbar seats from a 99 ws6 Ta to keep you in place.

I had 4 of these cars way back when.
Problem is, when you do the mods you've done, you're lucky if you break into the 13's!

"Set course for PIE!" Nobody saw that one?

Thanks for the offer Skordie, but I'm done trying to mod that old heap. I'm still gonna keep it, especially if I can't find a Marauder with a sunroof, but I'm saving my money for my next heap.
