Took delivery of mine Thursday night, May 29th. Spent Friday the 30th, my 43rd birthday, driving around, mullet in full glory. Great car, glad I waited past 02.

Good to see SOMEbody driving one of these things, but not many at all around here. There is one other in the county that I know of.

Anybody know any actual production figures?

Welcome aboard rct!

We have a LOT of good guys on here in your neck of the woods.
Check out the threads for NY/NJ and Northeast topics.

Don't know off-hand how many proud mullet wearers we have, but I'm sure they may be out there...

4100 MM sold, from the opening sale June, '02, through the "end of first fiscal quarter, '03"

This is according to Mac.

As opposed to the 18,000 projected for North America.

Couldn't help it. We all know it was way over projected.

Welcome to our not so humble abode. I've had mine since Nov. 5 2002, 24.5K miles since and it just keeps getting better. As for the low sales figures, a lot of folks just don't have the class to own/drive one. You'll see.

I really don't understand the fuss on production. They sell far fewer Crown Victoria LX Sports and Grand Marquis LSEs, but there never has been talk of canceling them.
It really shouldn't matter if they sell 5000 or 18,000 MM.
