Smokie, Cobra 25, MaLo03, Hotrauder, Marauder TJA, SouLRioT, Jman, JimLam56 and forgive me if I've left anyone out: my sincere thanks for organizing MVIV. Bunny and I had a marvelous time and I can't believe it's over already. Good food and good times with good friends; it doesn't get any better than that!

I know others will begin posting stories and pix as soon as they get home (there was only dial-up access at the hotel and many of us no longer have dial-up accounts).

Who, if anyone, from this site/in attendance @MVIV was in Key West on Duval St. in front of Sloppy Joe's Saturday night between 6:30 & 7:00 PM? I was watching the live web cam and saw a Silver Birch w/heavy window tint & factory spoiler go by twice! Could not read the plate.

Thank you to all of the organizers for a great time at MV4. I have to admit that the most fun I had was loitering in the parking lot and drinking beer with the members. It is nice to put a face to all of the screen names. It is amazing to spend time with so many new people, but never encounter a strainger.

Hi all,

I want to add my thanks and appreciation to the others posting here for the great job on Marauderville IV. I knew it would be a great time and they really came through. I just wished it could go on and on. Three of us headed North up the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 75 after the free breakfast. We were able to stay together (a small Marauder convoy) until we reached Interstate 10. A great time was had by all!

Chris and I offer our sincerest gratitude to the organizers of MVIV. You all did an excellent job. We met old friends that have been missed and made new friends that will not be forgotten. As it has been said before, 'it is not about the car it is about the people.'

And I agree with this:

...(although the car show judging was a little suspect :) ). Nice job.

Oh well, like they say, 'You can't fight City Hall.' ;)

Thanks again and see you all at MVV. :woohoo:

Sunshine State MM'ers ROCK THE HOUSE...You guys are off the hook and I want to thank you for hosting a great event. Cant wait for Dave to format the New Smyrna race cam footage showing us racing our MM's around the track. I know that was the best event I have ever entered in my MM ... Once again I want to thank all of the Sunshine State marauders for the hospitality....I hope I can repay you ...AL

Like everyone has said....nice to make "new friends" and share time together.
Also, it was a special honor to have my car picked as "Best of Show"
.......in reality every MARAUDER there was SPECIAL and worthy of the

Thanks Al! If your car hadn't been picked, I was going to initiate an investigation of the poll workers ;) ! Your car was gorgeous!

To all:
The smiles and glee of the participants quickly faded all the sweat and heartache leading up to MVIV. If we all were asked to do it again, I'm certain there'd be no attrition in the planning committee. But I'm counting votes next time!!!

Special extra thanks to Uncle Buck and Bruce Carter for all their behind-the-scenes work to help it all come together!

Special thanks again to Dennis Reinhart for leading my trailered car back to Reinhart Performance at midnight on Wed and having my computer replaced, getting my tune from Lidio, upgrading to xcal2 and having it ready and clean by noon on Thursday. At the track I had a nice view of his BlueMM tailpipes crossing the 1,320. Looks like it is burning pretty good Dennis.
You made my trip from Michigan worth it....

Congratulations, and thanks for the photos. The one with the MM's lined up 2x2 on the track, NASCAR fashon, has got to be the best MM photo I've ever seen. Hope you don't mind my "stealing" it.

And the last photo ..at least, now I know which Charlie made the trip.

Thanks again to all th SSM crew you are all gracious hosts. JMan nice chicken legs. :banned:

It was good meeting all the members that I had not met previously and putting faces to names. It was like meeting family members that you had never met before. As I have said in the past; "One big disfunctional family."

Dude,
I really liked you up to now! You had to point that out, didn't you. I'm a sensitive guy, ya' know! [He,he] Just because I called you a psycho for going on those rides. I wouldn't even been able to watch you do that! Holy crud, "Haggis The Fearless" . . .
