View Full Version : MadMax goes deep into the 11s

Took Project MadMax2006 to Cecil dragway this weekend for the SSOTN Fall Nationals. Still working some bugs out of the car, but overall I was pleased with the progress so far.

Made 5 passes for the day, each one in the 11s. Had traction issues on most of them due to not enough water in the box and getting one wheel burnouts. But had a couple clean passes, and on a soft tune (12 degrees timing) the car did a best of 11.39@120 with a 1.63 60ft. This is at full weight, nothing pulled from the car, not even the spare. Plus, I drove the car there and back, 400 miles.

She really didn't look or sound like it was at full throttle. It just blew right on by. Good job.
