I had my Grand Opening this past Saturday 11/18 and even though my permanent sign isn’t on the building yet it was a great success.
I had the Mobil 1 Nextel Cup show car as well as a mini car show, the Camaro, Turbo Buick and of course the Marauder is mine.
We also had a Susan G. Kolman breast cancer charity event as well. My wife Deborah died of breast cancer in 2000. We handed out lots of Mobil 1 toy cars.
Besides being a quick lube we are also a hand car wash and detail center.

Mike, congrats on the grand opening! I hope the new venture continues to be rewarding, I know it will, looks like you're running one of the best!

Congrats on the new shop! :up: My condolences to the loss of your wife; a friend of mine recently lost his wife to breast cancer. I'm a pretty young guy, but I would really like to be involved with my car hobby one day through my work. I really admire this business venture of yours! I recently took over my family's business and it's great, but I hope to some day be able to work around cars... haven't figured out how I want to involve myself with them though. :confused:

Oh, and since I always comment on it when the subject is brought up.... I can't forget to mention how much love I have for those Turbo Buicks!!! :D

That's awesome, Mike! Congrats. I started going to Mobil 1 here and it's far better than Jiffy Lube. I like the hand carwash was idea, too. The one I got to gives you a free automatic carwash everytime you go to Mobil, but a hand carwash is really nice. Looks like a really nice building, too. Best of luck for the future.

And my condolences to your wife as well. I bet she is very proud of you right now.

Congrats and best wishes. Lot's of hard work there, and I am sure it going to be worthwhile.
