Hey CAM folks, I will be stopping RBS for some lunch time libations Wednesday and will be making the arrangements for the get together. I will make the reservation for 22 and a 1/3 people. I hope this will be adequate. I look forward to seeing everyone. I think we should gather at the same place as last year; behind the movie theaters, next to the fountain.

There is a big lot between The Avenue and I-95. We parked there near the small lake/pond to avoid the "car show" security hassle back in December 2005. I think it was December 'cause I darned near froze wearing that MM leather jacket.
From the lot, we just walked through the AMC theater and came out across the street from the RBS. Think .... backside part of the Avenue. The lake and the lot are at the bottom center of the maps/photos provided in this Thread >>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=23023&highlight=spiders

The wife and I had a terrific time. Yes, that is about the most folks (35) that I have seen at a CAM meet. It was great to see some of the new folks like FreddieH, vkirkend, WKPLYHD and all of the regulars. CAM drew attendees from the entire region again this time ... from PA, MD, VA, DE and DC. Even had to make two rows of MMs to get everyone in. Thanks to Shaun for his efforts and presentation -- technically it was a "real" meeting. Thanks to "Merc" and "Mrs Merc" for the DVD. Red Brick Station is definitely a nice place to gather and they accomodated our overflow pretty well.

Certainly glad I didn't wear the MM Leather Jacket for the parking lot festivities. Too dang cold .... ;) Peg's romp through the lot making the big squares was very interesting.
The trip home was a little longer than expected ... 2.5 hours due to a wreck at Andrews AFB and a major snarl before and over the Wilson Bridge. I ended up taking the scenic route though Mount Vernon.

It was nice to put faces to the names. I'm glad I came and plan to be a regular attendant. Now if someone would just give me a S/C'er???

I too had a great time. It got dark out so I was able to turn on my underhood lamps. Since a few asked me about them, I found the original thread on them: http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28935
Anyway, was great seeing everyone! I had a bit of a rough tme getting there, the power cord to the GPS fell apart so I had to turn around home and grab a mapquest printout. Then it was just a matter of finding where everyone was parked. :)

Dang! I wish I could of made it with hearing that it was a big turnout.
Tom....that exhaust is sick! FYI in the state of MD, an exhaust outlet can not exit under a vehicle door lol. I'm still surprised I didn't get pulled over when I had mine but they were no where near sticking out that far lol. How did they do the piping and does the system have mufflers?

As everyone mentioned, it was a really great turnout! I met a lot of new people which is always good. Good food... good company and awesome cars... a great time I'd say!
Mark, Yes there's plenty to do. I'll PM you. Also enjoyed Peg's new sport of square track racing.
For all the CAMMERs that couldn't make it last night, we put together a Social Roster of our members. I am transcribing it and will pass it back out to those who provided their info. If you'd like to be included, just send me a PM with:
Screen Name
Last Name
First Name
Spouse or Significant Other
Home Phone
Cell Phone
email
Address
Just provide the info you would like to share. I have it from everyone that was there already.
I'll need to send a few PMs to the folks that have challenging handwriting like mine. I can't read my own sometimes. But I can type (spelling... well that's another story)

Just wanted to say I had a great time meeting members and the kind greetings I recieved from the time I drove up. It was nice to see more Marauders other than mine ( the only Silver Birch I know of on the penninsula ).
It was my first experience with a Blue Marauder. Next meet the wife promised to attend. Thanks N40GL for your technical advise. Again Thanks All.
