After all this, it came down to:
There's not much profit in these things
you can save some money on a "deal" but not much
find a local dealer who will deliver and install the liftThe savings was less than $200 from a friendly MM'er who gave us the best price possible. My local distributer offered the following:
RFP7-XLT 162" WB 7,000lb capacity 4 post $3,606
2x S110143 Jack Trays (jacks not included) $161
2x S100031 Drip Tray(s) $112
Deliver and install (delivery to 17320 is $157) $800
Total cost delivered, installed, and warrented $4679With their install 3 year parts and warranty.
Could I have saved money? Yes, most definately. Probably by ordering from our friend and offloading it from the truck, and installing it myself, about $800.
BUT! There would have been no warranty, and I could end up getting hurt unloading/building the thing (you know how I am) :geezer:
BTW, I ordered a Blue one with the 220V motor. :D
