I figure'd I'd make a new post and catch a little more attention, so hopefully some of you will chime in. My SHO needs a driver front coil spring, and when I went to my local Crap Zone (Auto Zone), they said the 5 speed weren't available, but the automatic one's were? :alone: Now, I'm not sure, maybe they're the same springs or not? I was hoping some of you perhaps know or not. I would ask this on a SHO forum, but I'm still waiting approval to get activated on their. So, should I go back, and get the automatic springs or what? $66 for two springs, not bad at all. I just don't see why they wouldn't work, the only thing I can think of is that the 5 speed might be a little more torquey.

On the door tag should be an area with spring codes. Find out which letter it is, please. This will help since there are about 10 different ones available.

As weird as this sounds I may still have mine from when I switched to Intrax and they were only on the car for not even 4 months still pretty new. If you can wait to have some shipped I can go out to the shed and see if they are still there. They are front springs came off of a 94 5 speed SHO. Let me know.

How much would you want for them DarthMarauder? How can I tell what the code is? There's a bunch of numbers and letter's.

Also, did you have the 3.0l or the 3.2?

He's got the 3.0. The 3.2 was used on the ATX cars.

Roger on that. The 3.0 is the 5 speed the 3.2 is the auto. So they are from a 5 speed. Let me go out and check them I think they still have the tag on them with the part #.

Since I didnt install these when they were brand new not sure if they are the correct 5 speed ones the previous owner could of did what you were saying and threw on some ones from an auto but they have part #E6DZ-5310-H if you want to make sure these are the ones you need then you can have them for shipping. I no longer have my SHO and these were just sitting collecting dust. Actually if you are interested in some other parts I have valve cover gaskets, motorcraft platinum plugs, 8mm Taylor wires, and some front suspension bushings for the strut rods I'd be willing to sell cheap all those parts are brand new never installed. (Bought them to fix leaky spark plug wells but ended up trading the SHO in for the MM)
