Howdy Guys and Gals,

Called to schedule service for the MM. Since it will be left for a night or two I inquired about a loaner and got a reply that Mercury dealerships do not offer loaners but I could rent a car. At which point I said I know guys who have gotten loaners from Merc dealers and she says " well if you have the Ford ESP extended warranty you get 29 dollars a day for a rental" So I say I have one of those and she says she will schedule a car for me to pick up when I drop off my car..... Is my service rep full of c*** or what....?

Cars is getting serviced for oil change (3400miles), steering wheel leather wrap, gear linkage (does not like to go from drive to reverse), update ecm for shift probs, pass headlight assembly fogging, constant pull to the right, and paint inspection (not kidding I can touch the damn car and it will scratch)(not holding breath on this one)

Stay Safe

Andy

Yes.

I didn't buy the ESP either, and they said I could have a loaner anytime...

I do not think there is "blanket" policy on loaner cars? The place where I deal does give one for warranty work but, not routine service. Most dealerships give the first oil change free. The Toyota dealership where the wife got her Highlander get "free" oil changes for the life of the car. Some times you "lean" on the SM or your salesperson.
Good luck

ENOUGH. Thread truncated and closed. I see the word clique on more time and accounts will be getting closed.

It's unfortunate that threads lately have been getting hijacked and derailed with childish bull.

Christ, grow up people.
