well im doing some looking thinking.

I like loud exhuast, the last 3 vehicles ive had, have had no mufflers, im probably just used to it by now, i admit, the tahoe with dual exhuast and no mufflers, that was loud, but i loved it.

my marauder already has no mufflers, its really just sounds like a mustang cobra with nice aftermarket exhaust, its not really LOUD, and im thinking about putting some exhaust cutouts in front of the cats, they have electric ones that will open close with the flip of a switch (just imagine sitting at a slow red light, some b.s. ricers rolls up, he revs, so you slightly rev, he redline revs it, u push a button, wait 1 sec and rev again striking the fear of god in him!)

also at any track just SCREAMING down the strip, oh yeah!

so anyways im looking for the size of the factory exhuast right out of the stock exhuast manifolds, and is there room to squeeze them in between the manifolds and cats?

they are approx. 9 inch long and 4 wide

any thoughts or help is appreciated

I put some on my MM a few months ago but put them after the cats- & o2 sensor- as it may throw codes. I guess you could have a tune to turn off the o2 sensor.
They cut out the bend after the cats and welded it in that elbow before the mufflers. They face inwards and a little up but I haven't had any problems with heat or anything because I'm moving fast anyways.

There's also TMF's (http://prorauder.frieltek.com/PUREVIL/Cutouts/default.asp)setup as mentioned in the earlier post.

I don't have clips or pictures (haven't spent the time to) but they sound great, esp since the rest of the exhaust is stock - so it's a night and day change.
