Greetings all!

This is my first post. Thank you very much. Glad to be here.

Anyway, I have a question about K&N air filters. Everybody seems very enthusiastic about the 63-1111 Air Charger, but it's not listed on K&N's site, so I can't really find any HP Gain numbers. The only similar model they have listed is the 57-2563 FIPK model, which looks identical as far as I can tell, might even be the same picture, and it sells for a whopping EIGHT CENTS MORE on AJUSA.com.

This may be a stupid question, but what's the difference? I one better than the other? Which one is newer? Do they have the same HP gain? Has anyone bought or dealt with both enough to notice any changes?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know the differents,but I have a 63-1111 for sale,used about 3000 miles.
I took it off before I sold my MM.
PM me if iinterested.

I could have sworn the air charger is just a little bag that goes over the filter so it doesn't get dirty? I didn't think it was a full intake.

The K&N air charger #63-1111 is no longer made. Originally
the #63-1111 was for "off road" only and was not approved for sale or
use in California. The New # 57-2563 is exactlly the same air charger as
63-1111 only with a different # and is approved for sale in all states now including California. Same filter just a different number. Same HP numbers too.

Gotta Love It!:P
