A local dealer is asking $5988 for 100K 2003 CV PI. Is this a decent asking price? They will probably want to dump it before end of year. I was thinking offering $4000.

I don't think you'll ever get an 03 for $4k anytime soon. When I was looking for a CVPI last year, I wanted an 03, and they were in the $6500 range. I just couldn't find one in black, that wasn't halfway across the country. I paid $4k for my 2000 last year, and that was still a deal because most of the 00s were in the 4500-5000 range.
I'd say offer them $5500 for it, and they might do it.

Hey friend==Happy Holidays--No-I think its too high--stop by the credit union/bank--get 35 $100 bills--go and show them the bills--fans them out in front of the salesman--in the office....tell them they can have them for the car---turn key--out the door--if they hesitate--turn and walk away--see what they do then---Tom

Way too much, why would you buy a 100k mile car for that much. You can buy a loaded CV or MGM for that price with less miles, it might be a couple years older though.

Thanks for the input. Looking for a replacement beater with coolness factor. I found this one fully blacked out.

Go ahead and offer 4K. You never know.
I got my 03 PI with 90 for 4k, so I would say that it's a little high.

I spent 7400 on a CV Sport with 80k this summer.
Only major flaw is lovebug pits on the nose.
As a reference point...

I doubt I'll get it. Thanks for the help anyway. It was wishful thinking.
