Has anyone tried the Granatelli coils as wellas the stainless connectors, and if so what results?

I have a set of the Granatelli COP with connectors that I willl install Christmas day on my '04 MM with 27.5k original miles. Only mods are a K&N CAI.

Hopefully the result will be a noticeable increase in RWHP and better gas mileage, as well as more grins /mile.

These work out, I willl consider a set on my '06 Dodge Magnum 5.7 Hemi as they come available.

Seems like most MM owners on this forum are opting for the Granatelli connectors only. Why, is it the cost, or having to change the polarity, or both or some other unconsidered reason?

Best,

MDH

Apparently nobody here has tried them. I dont know if you'll get that much of an increase, but definitely let us know how it goes.

i really dont think you will notice any difference, untill you actually start doing some heavy modding like a charger or spray

I had a "Phantom Missfire" that was very evident at about 45-50 MPH with the TC locked and at constant speed.....It felt like hitting dips in the road and most would probably ignore it?? The connectors not only fixed that but also the idle was much smoother (also reported by many)!!

I check my mileage every tank and I began to get about one MPG better fuel mileage too!!:D

Probably not worth it to the average guy until he does it and feels the difference??:shake: I would expect the connectors and coils would be worthwhile on blower cars.....I may get the coils later since everything seems to be JUST FINE right now!!

When you see what the stock COP wires look like, you'll have your answer.....

When you see what the stock COP wires look like, you'll have your answer.....Couldn't have said it better myself. I noticed a slight increase in throttle response and about 15-20 more miles to a fillup.
