So, my vacation travel is taking my through SW Missouri and Eastern Oklahoma. The tank is starting to get near empty, so I pull over. Apparently, "Premium" gasoline here means 91 Octane. I stopped at 5 gas stations and cannot find 93 Octane or higher, which my tune demands.:mad2:
What's up with this? Is anyone here from these areas, and if so, what stations sell 93+ Octane?!

Meteorite,
Your best bets for 93 oct are going to be Shell, BP, Citgo, Conoco or QuickTrip stations. All the rest are 91-92

You can always add a can or bottle of octane booster.

Usually your best bet for 92 octane is at a BP/Amoco. 91 octane is considered a premium grade around this part of the country and sometimes you'll see 85 octane pass for regular grade.

I dunno. I rarely see anything over 91

Here in Missouri 93 octane is more rare... you will have good luck at the stations already listed (if any do have it). Unfortunately it's just a reality that 91 is the local maximum (considering what is reasonably available) and yes, the gas here is quite low quality too so don't bother racing around on it if you are running lower octane than your tune.

In Nebraska it's 91 octane, I go over to Council Bluffs, Iowa to fill up on 93.

Thanks for the replies, everybody!
I did end up finding one Sinclair station in Oklahoma that had 93 Octane, but only after I'd already filled up on 91 Octane and a bottle of Octane booster.
