Need stereo head

:confused: Hi guys, tape player doesn't want to play. Keeps changing sides. Any suggestions or does anyone have a properly working head unit they are ready to part with? Merry Christmas. Frank.:)

Have you tried more than one tape? It could be a problem with the tape itself.
If not, have you tried cleaning the heads?
